As expected, the sequel to the biggest film of Indian cinema has broken its own record. Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion is creating wonders at the box office with a total amount 383 crores in 4 days. As Karan Johar, the co-producer of the film tweeted:

What is it that makes this film such a blockbuster hit?
Here are some reasons behind the success of this massive hit; Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion.
1) The Engrossing Storyline
The story by K.V Vijayendra Prasadis compelling and enthralling. The twists and turns are amusing. It starts as a sweet romantic story but soon turns into a story of jealousy and vendetta. It is an absolute roller coaster of joy and pain, romance, and family feuds. The plot of this sequel leaves no stone unturned and reveals the reason why Kattappa killed Baahubali.
2) Why did Kattappa kill Baahubali?
Don’t worry I won’t give out any spoilers yet.
The curiosity built up in the audience soon after the release of Baahubali – The Beginning. This was one of the questions trending all over India. The cliffhanger of the first film left the audience restless and waiting for more. This is one of the major reasons behind the success of Baahubali 2.
3) The Amazing Cast.
S.S Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2 has strong characters. Protagonists Prabhas aka Amrendra Baahubali and Anushka Shetty aka DevSena share an amazing chemistry. Prabhas does complete justice to the role. His fine performance entertains the audience till the end. Beautifully written, his character is of a strong warrior who is caring and loved by all. He loves his mother and abides by everything she says. Further into the story, you see an emotional side to his character which is liked by all.
Rana Daggubati does complete justice to the role of Bhallaldeva (the antagonist). Not many could’ve thought of Rana playing a negative role as it is quite unlike his other characters, but his utmost dedication has shown wonders and is getting a positive response.
SathyaRaj aka Kattappa and Ramya Krishna aka Raj Mata Sivagami play supporting characters. These charactersare blindsided by duty and their loved ones. You see their vulnerable side as well which melts your heart.
Overall, you can call the cast of Baahubali 2 the dream cast!!
4) The larger than life sequences.
One of the strongest point of this film is the VFX. Some of the sequences are very appealing and colorful. This level of sequences is rarely seen in Indian Cinema.
5) The Crew
S.S Rajamouli is known for creating wonders with his films such as Magadheera (2009) and Makkhi/Eega (2012). He is a visionary and has created magic on the screen through each film, Baahubali being no different. The amazing script, the wonderful soundtrack created by M.M Keeravani, the outstanding screenplay, and the splendid cinematography by K.K Senthil Kumar is mesmerizing and very satisfying.
