People can visit the monument at any time of the day. The Gateway of India is a major tourist hub in the city, which is located at Apollo Bunder Waterfront in Southern Mumbai. This monument was built to welcome King George V and Queen Mary to Mumbai and years later, the last horde of British troops left India through this gateway.

Marine Drive is considered as the best pathway for an evening stride. It has access to some of the major corporate centers, recreation activities and also places of entertainment.The mesmerizing breezes which blow around this area makes it’s way to a person’s heart and hence calming the mind.
Marine Drive is also referred to as ‘Queen’s necklace’, because the street lights make the road look like a string of pearls and create an illusion of a necklace, when viewed at night from any elevated point along the pathway of the drive.
Unfortunately the yellow street lights which were the main reason for the queen’s necklace have been replaced with white lights on the street.

The Carter Road Promenade is a kilometer -long walkway along the sea on the west side of Bandra, a suburb of Mumbai, India. It is simultaneously a popular hang out spot next to Bandstand Promenade, a jogging track, a park and also a lovers’ point. The promenade is managed by Bandra West Residents’ Association.Carter road promenade is now extended till Khar danda. There are a lot of eating places at the end of the road which makes it even more popular.

Mumbai Monorail is a monorail system in the city of Mumbai, India, part of a major expansion of public transport in the city. The project was implemented by the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA), along with a consortium of Mumbai-based conglomerate Larsen & Toubro and the Malaysian infrastructure firm Scomi Engineering Bhd. It is the first monorail in India since the Kundala Valley Railway and Patiala State Monorail Trainways were closed in the 1920s.Construction began in 2009 and the first operational line, between Wadala Depot and Chembur, was opened to the public on 2 February 2014.Trains were run from 7am to 3pm IST in the initial stages, but extended to operate for 14 hours, from 6 am to 8 pm, from 15 April 2014.

The Bandstand Promenade is a kilometer long walkway along the sea on the west side of Bandra, a suburb of Mumbai, India. Less than a decade old, it is simultaneously a popular hangout spot, a jogging track, a park and also a lovers point.
Towards the Land’s End side of the promenade is an amphitheater. It serves as a venue for the Mumbai Festival, Celebrate Bandra and other events including concerts, classical dance and other performances. The ‘Artist’s Court’ is another performance venue built into the promenade that witnesses public Jam sessions on Sundays.
